I’m Emma Jeffcoat, a professional triathlete & Tokyo 2020 Olympian. I’ve been racing on the Triathlon World Series for nearly a decade now having won multiple individual World Cups & Mixed Team Relay World Series races.

Away from triathlon I’m a registered Nurse, a keen public speaker & strong advocate in shifting the narrative on body image & positive performance mindset. I’m adventurous, determined & forever the optimist.

How True products fuel my health and fitness goals

As an endurance athlete balancing 3 sports & consistently high training loads (up to 35hr weeks) I rely on True Products to help fuel my performance within sessions & assist my recovery between sessions. Being able to consistently turn up to training well fueled & ready to go is key for transferring that work into race day performances.

Favourite True Products

  1. WPI 90 in Cookies & Cream, I have this one straight after key workouts to help muscle recovery & assist in adaptation from the work! It’s a staple & I love that it’s a true high quality protein with no nasties.
  2. True Pre, in Sour Grape flavour, I have this before key speed sessions where we’re looking to maximise what I can get out of myself. I also use Pre on race day, 30 mins before the start gun. I love how Pre gets me up & about, feeling ready to get after it, without the nasty come down of other pre workout products.
  3. True Collagen, in Rich Chocolate, is a must 30 mins before my gym sessions or any plyometric run work. Collagen is vital for tendon & bone health, and historically struggling with injuries, this product has really helped me recovery & adapt to the training stimulus.
  4. True Fuel in Tropical, this is a staple for me in nearly all my bike rides. A high quality carbohydrate sports drink which gives me the fuel needed to get the work done.

What motivates me

As a triathlete balancing 3 different sports it’s impossible to be perfect & there’s always something you can improve on which I find really motivating to always be striving to improve, & get the most out of yourself within grueling training sessions, weeks or races.

My proudest moment is my first World Cup win, this race changed a lot for me. I went from idolising the women I was racing, to seeing myself as a competitor & someone who could be a world class competitor. It was a race that gave me a lot of self belief & confidence & I’m so proud of being able to share that with my family, friends & coach as it was a home World Cup in Australia 2018.

Favourite True Values

Be True. To be true to yourself, showing up the best you can each & every day so that when you walk up to that start line, no matter the outcome, you know you’ve been true to yourself, have put in the hard work & can be proud of the end result & journey you took to get there.
