You might have noticed some exciting updates at True HQ—our packaging is evolving, our shipping processes are improving, and behind the scenes, we’re making major upgrades to serve you better!

These changes are all part of our commitment to our brand value Be Better, which is all about delivering the best possible experience for our customers. Read on to learn more about what’s happening and why these updates are great news for you.

Warehousing & Order Fulfilment Improvements

In 2025, we’re rolling out cutting-edge technology to speed up how we pick, pack, and ship your orders! Our new Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) is the first of its kind in Australia, and it’s designed to get your orders out the door faster than ever. The new system reduces manual elements of our picking & packing processes, meaning quicker dispatch times and more efficient order processing.

While we’re incredibly excited about this upgrade, there will be a short transition period as our team gets used to the new system. We appreciate your patience during this phase and can’t wait for you to experience the improvements.

New Machinery

We’ve invested in a brand-new piece of machinery to our in-house manufacturing facility, which is seriously levelling up our production capabilities. While we could previously manufacture 10 bags of protein per minute, our new Food Manufacturing Engineering (FME) machine can produce up to 40. Improving our production capacity means your favourite products will always be in stock and ready for you to enjoy!

Phase Out of Tubs & Tins Packaging

We’re making a big leap forward by moving our products from plastic and metal tins back to satchels. Here’s why this change is great for you:

Faster Production & More Stock Reliability

Our production lines are optimised for satchels, meaning we can manufacture products more efficiently and reduce the chances of stock shortages. This also opens the door for exciting new product innovations—think new flavours and fresh additions to our range!

Better Product Freshness & Shelf Life

Some of our products, such as Pre, are hydrophilic, meaning they attract moisture. Satchels are best suited to protect our products from moisture and reduce the occurrence of clumping due to humidity.

Reducing Transit Damage

Our previous packaging—while stylish—wasn’t always the best for shipping, and we know some of you experienced issues with damaged products (such as Greens exploding!). Our new packaging is sturdier, more travel-friendly, and designed to arrive in perfect condition.

A More Thoughtful Approach to Sustainability

While our satchels aren’t recyclable just yet (due to food safety requirements), they use far fewer resources to produce compared to plastic and metal tins. Plus, by eliminating unnecessary packaging waste (such as bubble wrap to protect flimsy cardboard cylinders), we’re continuing to improve on sustainability practices.

We’re incredibly excited about these upgrades and confident they’ll make a huge difference to your experience with True. Thanks for being part of this journey with us—we can’t wait for you to see the benefits firsthand.
