Rebecca Cole

I’m a professional basketball player in the WNBL, a 2x WNBL Champion, All-Star 5 member, and the current captain of the Southside Flyers. I’ve also represented Australia as part of the 3x3 Team and the Opals Squad.

Some of my key achievements include being named Southside Flyers MVP & Finals MVP, winning gold and bronze at the 3x3 Asia Cup, earning Team of the Tournament and MVP honors, and leading the 3x3 World Cup in scoring.

When I’m not on the basketball court, I’m spending time with my family and friends—who mean the world to me—relaxing by the pool, or watching a movie. Fitness is a big part of my life, and you can often find me competing with my dad (a former Socceroo) to see who can lift more! Beyond sports, I have a passion for fashion and food—I love styling outfits and discovering Melbourne’s best restaurants and bakeries.

How True products fuel my health and fitness goals

There are a few True products that are absolute essentials for fueling my sport and fitness, as well as supporting my recovery so I can perform at my best. During team training, I rely on Electrolytes to stay hydrated and replenish quickly. After gym sessions, I mix WPI90 with Collagen + Vitamin C to enhance muscle recovery, stay lean, and support my immune system. Every night, I take ZMA to improve sleep and aid recovery.

Favourite True products

  1. ZMA in Blood Orange - I'll mix ZMA with water every night before bed and I swear I have never slept better since adding it to my nighttime routine.

  2. WPI 90 in French Vanilla - I'll always mix WPI with cold water after a hard workout. It fills me up between training sessions whilst boosting my protein intake and enhancing my recovery. I am a vanilla girlie and this literally tastes like a vanilla thick shake to me.

  3. True Gut Health - I will start most of my days off with Gut Health. I have a sensitive gut and taking this consistently has really helped me maintain a healthy gut and promote digestion. Its a great addition to any drink or shake.

  4. Mousse - I can't go past Mousse as an after dinner sweet treat. I love that it can satisfy my sweet tooth whilst being a healthy option. Its another great source in protein and collagen and is so light and fluffy.

What motivates me

I think the simple fact that I want to be better than I was yesterday and always be the best version of myself—on and off the court—is what drives me to train harder and smarter every day. It’s not always easy, and motivation isn’t always there, but knowing I woke up, put in the work, and got better allows me to rest easy at night, knowing I did everything I could.

Proudest achievement

It’s hard to name just one achievement because every time I wear the green and gold is a moment I’ll remember forever. But if I had to choose, winning Gold at the 3x3 Asia Cup and receiving the MVP award would be at the top. I had worked so hard to come back from injury and prove people wrong, and to step onto the world stage, playing with confidence alongside my friends, representing my country—that’s a feeling I’ll never forget.

The Be You in True's values resonates most with me as I think it is so important to be yourself. Everybody is unique in their own way and that’s what make us all special. Growing up, I had role models I admired and wanted to follow, but at the end of the day, I wanted to be ‘the next Bec Cole.’ I love that by being true to ourselves, we can inspire the next generation of athletes—now, we get to be the role models.
