On the back of the True Protein pancake packaging the 60g recommended serving suggestion makes around 4-5 pancakes. If you decide to add further ingredients to the True Protein dry pancake mix, such as mashed banana or protein oats, the final number of pancakes will alter. Also keep in mind the size of you pancakes. If you prefer thicker fluffy pancakes you will find that your final pancake amount will be reduced.
Is the macronutrient content inclusive of the egg and the milk needing to be added?
The macronutrient content in True Protein pancake blend has been calculated in the dry mix only. Any additional ingredients or substitutions made to the dry mix is difficult to calculate because everyone enjoys their pancakes differently with toppings and milk and egg substitutions.
Is there an alternative for adding egg to True Protein pancake blend?
True Protein pancake has a serving suggestion which does indicate the use of adding an egg to the dry mixture. However, if you do suffer from an allergy or intolerance, the pancake mix can be easily substituted for 1 tbsp of chia seeds mixed with 3 tbsp of water.
